MAXIMO®, DISA, Ft. Meade, Maryland 2013 - Present

Subcontracting with GCR, Inc., provide support to the DOD Information Systems Agency's Maximo 7.5
system at Fort Meade, MD. Support includes managing the preventive maintenance program, data loading,
report writing, user training, system updates, application design, and database administration

Center Wide Maximo, NASA, Glenn Research Center, Cleveland Ohio 2009-Present

Chief architect and developer of a large-scale MAXIMO® 7.1 deployment at NASA Glenn Research Center to support NASA Testing operations, facility maintenance, Central Processing operations, and pressure systems maintenance.  The system is used by over 600 users, manage over 70,000 assets, and has over 10,000 Preventive Maintenance records. The system interfaces with the Glenn Research Pressure Systems Database. Data was consolidated into a single database from 4 major NASA IT systems. This is the largest MAXIMO®  deployment owned and managed by NASA. Tasks performed include:

  • Systems integration with the NASA Pressure Systems Database
  • Technical handoff to NASA

MAXIMO®, United States Department of Agriculture, 2008-Present

Provide Maximo 7.5.support for the USDA’s Baltimore Agriculture Research Center in Beltsville, MD. This
project includes migrating MAXIMO®5.2 data to version 7.1 in 2008 and upgrading to 7.5 in 2013. Ongoing
support includes maintaining the USDA’s preventive maintenance program, developing reports,
implementing failure analysis, assisting with Syclo hand held devices, and training end users.

NASA Pressure Systems Interface, Glenn Research Center, Ohio  2012

Developed NASA Glenn Research Center’s Maximo interface with the center’s Pressure Systems Database. The Maximo interface synchronizes all center pressure systems equipment, including pressure vessels, relief valves, flex hoses, burst disks, heat exchangers, and other related pressure system assets. Daily processes automatically create visual external and recertification preventive maintenance checks and routes with job plans, frequencies, next due dates, and WBS assignments.

American Red Cross Headquarters, Washington DC  2011

Upgraded MAXIMO®  5.2 to 7.11 for the American Red Cross Headquarters in the Washington, DC area.  Implemented new functionality including LDAP integration, automatic email alerts, and customer email confirmations. Created advanced maintenance reports to provide detailed and actionable information. Performed all tasks required for implementation, including solution design, installation, configuration, data migration, and training.

IBM/FORD  MAXIMO®  Integration, Ford Motor Company, USA  2009

Worked with IBM to integrate Ford Motor Company plant assets, locations, work orders, job plans and preventive maintenance data with a centralized Ford MAXIMO® 7.1 system. This project included configuring the Maximo Integration Framework, setting up inbound and outbound web services, and configuring integration to work with multiple Ford external systems located at North American plants. Tasks performed included setting up web service integration using the MIF.

United States Department of Agriculture, Maintenance Operations 2008-2009

Implemented MAXIMO®  7.1 for the USDA’s Baltimore Agriculture Research Center in Beltsville, MD.  This project included migrating MAXIMO® 5.2 data to version 7.2, setting up the USDA’s preventive maintenance program, developing reports, implementing failure analysis, assisting with the deployment of Syclo hand held devices, and training end users. Performed all tasks required for implementation, including solution design, installation, configuration, data migration, and training.

MAXIMO®  Integration, L3 Vertex, Madison, MS, 2008

This project consisted of using the MAXIMO® Enterprise Adapter to interface L3 Vertex’s purchasing system with the corporate BizTalk/SAP system. The interface included purchase orders, receipts, and item master records. Integration used XML messaging and XSLT transformation technology. Created integration specification document to the LS SAP system.

NASA, Kennedy Space Center, FL  2008

Assisted NASA in developing hardware and software architecture for the KSC MAXIMO®  System Upgrade project. This project is responsible for the migration of existing MAXIMO®  4.1.1 data from the Kennedy Integrated Communication Services (KICS) contract and Joint Base Operations Support Contract (JBOSC) into a new NASA owned MAXIMO®  6.2.2 system. Tasks performed included data migration and data load verification. Developed a "Zero Downtime" implementation technique consisting of completing an initial data load followed up by a real time data synchronization of critical data using the MIF.

U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO  2007

Assisted CH2MHill with implementation of MAXIMO®  6.0 system to support the United States Air Force Academy base maintenance and operations contract.  Provided support for end user training, preventive maintenance program development, screen modifications, and custom business rules development.

U.S. Navy, National Capitol Region, Washington DC  2007

Developed a MAXIMO®  5.2 system to support the Navy’s National Capitol Region Base Operating and Services Contract, including the Navy Research Lab, Bethesda Navy National Medical Center, and the Washington Naval Yard.  Prime contractor for this contract is EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc.

U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba  2006

Implemented MAXIMO®  5.2 to support Naval base operations at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for BREMCOR, Inc., a joint venture of EMCOR Facilities Services and Burns and Roe, Inc.  Services included integrated maintenance plan development, system integration, custom business rules development, and data conversion and loading.

American Red Cross Headquarters, Washington DC  2006

Configured MAXIMO® 5.2 system for EMCOR, Inc. to maintain and operate five American Red Cross buildings in the Washington, DC area.  Services included integrated maintenance plan development, system integration, custom business rules development, and data conversion and loading.

U.S. Navy, West Sound Base Operations, Washington   2005

Implemented MAXIMO®  5.2 for the U.S. Navy’s West Sound Base Operations Support Contract (WSBOSC) to support the Navy bases in the Western Puget Sound area, including Silverdale, Bremerton, Keyport, and Port Hadlock.

GSA, Internal Revenue Service Support Center, Memphis, Tennessee  2003

System supports operation and maintenance services for Memphis Internal Revenue Service Center, located in Memphis, Tennessee. The complex consists of 11 buildings and 5 guardhouses, with an aggregate total gross square footage of 900,133.
